Hypnotherapy in Reading

One to one Hypnotherapy

These sessions are held in my relaxing therapy room in Reading, Berkshire. Together we can unpick and resolve any unwanted habits and build your positive mindset, self-esteem and confidence. Hypnotherapy is commonly used for: Quitting smoking, weight loss, stress and anxiety, fears and phobias. After a free initial consultation we can work a plan of action together for building the new, calmer, happier you.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

How does a session work?

If you think that hypnotherapy is something that may benefit you we would begin with a free 30 minute consultation (either by phone, or face to face). During this consultation I will ask you about your issue, what you would like to change and what you would like your end result to be (ie. to be a non-smoker, or be someone free from fear or anxiety).

Once we have decided whether I am the right person for you, we would then book in an initial 1 hour consultation in my cosy therapy room in Reading. During this session, I will guide you into a lovely state of relaxation - during this time you are always in control, and always aware of what is happening (it’s a bit like that lovely state between awake and asleep as you drift off to sleep). Once you have reached that state of relaxation, I can work with your subconscious mind to re-programme your existing beliefs to those that you would prefer now.

In some cases, where relevant, we can access past trauma or memories and process those, in order to understand and change current resulting behaviours.

It depends on the person and the issue at hand on how many sessions would be required, but usually at least 3 will begin to create changes. My fee is £45 per session, this is paid in advance. Sessions are available Monday-Friday from 9.30am to 2pm. In case of cancellations, I will do my best to re-schedule you. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice a charge may be incurred.
